Glenn Greenfiel's Obituary
Glenn Greenfiel died January 13, 2009. He was born in Melvin, IA on March 4, 1920.Glenn was raised in Cuyahoga Falls and Akron, OH. He graduated from North High School in 1938. He served in WWII as a Military Policeman in London. He graduated from Art School in Pittsburg then joined Lake Spiro Sherman Advertising of Memphis, TN in 1949. Glenn worked for Plough, Inc. as a graphic artist then retired in 1982 and moved to Tampa, FL. He loved to draw and fish.He is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine. He leaves his children, Sherry and her husband Roger Latham of Olive Branch, MS, Robyn and her husband Jim Good of New Smyrna Beach, FL and a son, Bryan Greenfiel. He also leaves other family members, Pat and Gayle Edwards, Jo Ann and Norris Jones, Betty and Glen Reed, Pam and Tommy Mathis all of Kentucky and Phyllis West of Iowa. His five grandchildren; Chad, Chase, Renee Latham, Lauren Moon, Marshall Wheeler and many nieces, nephews and cousins will miss him dearly.In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
