Glenda Nanninga's Obituary
Glenda E. Nanninga, 73, of Cordova, TN passed away June 16 at Germantown Methodist Hospital after a short struggle with liver cancer. Glenda was born in Paducah, TX on December 9, 1940 to C. A. Parker, Sr. and Theola Parker. As a young girl, she moved to Carlsbad, NM, where she attended school, grew up and married Joe Sides. Joe died of cancer in 1983. They had two beautiful children, Cindy and Paul. Glenda married Doug Nanninga of December 10, 1988. Her life was one word “family”. She was a member of Carlsbad Methodist Church and Germantown United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Doug; children, Cindy Osborn (David) of El Paso, TX and son, Paul Sides (Sherri) of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Courtney, Catherine, Lindsay, Sarah, and Samantha; and brothers, Clebern Parker of Yukon, OK and Floyd Haston of Carlsbad, NM. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 18 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and the funeral service 1:30 Thursday, June 19 at Germantown United Methodist Church.
