Glen Arnold Beyer's Obituary
Glen Beyer was born in Prentice, Wisconsin. He went to East High School in Memphis, Tennessee and joined the Marine Corp in 1954. He worked at Wiley Laboratories in Huntsville, Alabama at which time he met his Wife. They moved to Miami, Florida where he worked for Eastern Airlines and had two Children. Glen finished his engineering career at Federal Express in Memphis, Tennessee in 2005.
He leaves his loving Wife, Gertrud, his Daughter, Patrea Burke and Husband, Shawn, His Son, Dr. Erik Beyer and Wife, Tracy, Grandchildren Maria, Julia, Isabella, George and Benjamin and a Great Granddaughter, Giovanna. He is also survived by his Sister, Susan St. Onge and Brother Lawrence Beyer.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 4 at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:0 a.m. at the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church in Memphis.
