Gladys Neel Woodall's Obituary
Gladys Rebecca (Becky) Neel Woodall, 86 did Friday, May 28, 2010. She was born in Memphis, TN on January 3, 1924. Becky is a graduate of Memphis Central High School. She is survived by her husband Reverend Charles Woodall; her son, Joel Neel (Linda) of Coldwater, MS; three sisters, Dorothy Holloman and Ann Terhune of Memphis; and Edna Majors (Tom of Blytheville, AR; and one brother James Dupree (Martha) of Michie, TN. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Ofie Neel of Atlanta; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was a resident of Heritage Place Retirement Community in Hickory Hill. Becky retired as Office Manager of E.H. Crump & Co. after thirty years of service. She was a life-long member of Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Midtown. Visitation will be Sunday, May 30, 2010 from 3 until 5 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 31, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., both at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Central Christian Church, 531 S. McLean Blvd. Memphis, TN 38104.
