Gladys Jane Harrell's Obituary
Gladys Jane Harrell, age 77, of Kingston, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Renaissance Health Care Center in Harriman, TN. She was born November 4, 1936 in Niagara Falls, New York, the daughter of John Albert Cross and Mary Agnes Tudor Cross. Mrs. Harrell was a Process Server working with the State of Tennessee. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, active with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department FOP and a 50 yr. member of the Tennessee Women’s Bowling Association. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Donald Allan Harrell, November 18, 1994. She is survived by son, Marvin Albert Harrell of Nashville, TN; Daughters, Beverly H. Neal and husband John of Kingston, TN and Mary Catherine Harrell of Rockwood, TN; Sister, Gloria Ann Miller and husband Phil of Brevard, NC and 2 granddaughters, Christina Marie Neal and Brittany Nicole Neal, both students at Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH. The family will receive friends Monday, October 20, 2014 from 6 – 8pm at Weatherford Mortuary, Oakridge, TN. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10am at Memphis Memory Gardens in Memphis, TN.
