Gerald Tesreau's Obituary
Connie Gerald Tesreau, age 89, born October 21, 1935, in Campbell Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025.
Gerald moved to Memphis in 1953 and attended Draughons Business College. In June 1954, he married his high school sweetheart, Joann Smith Tesreau and they began their life together in Memphis TN. Over the years he was employed at Williams Equipment Company, Evangelical Christian School, and after 20 years at Fedex, he retired in 2000. Gerald attended Central Baptist Church for over 50 years and is currently a member at East Side Baptist Church.
Throughout his life, Gerald enjoyed singing in the church choir, working with AWANA groups, gardening, cooking, Christmas decorating and collecting hundreds of snowmen.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Ola Tesreau and siblings, Carl and Wanda Jane.
Gerald is survived by his children, Kevin Tesreau (Cindy), Karen Watts (Bill), and Kristi Vick (Frank) ; his grandchildren, Mark Tesreau (Brandi), Brad Tesreau, Tamra Tesreau Abernathy (Ryan), Kristen Ehler (Mike), Nick Burrage, Brian Watts, Joann Pegues (Matt), and Vada Bronsink (Dustin); Great grandchildren, Mullin Tesreau (Hannah), Lincoln Tesreau (Nadia), Shiloh Tesreau, Jackson Tesreau, Audrey Tesreau, Heather Prill (Brandon), Levi Pegues, Cole Pegues; and great-great grandchildren; Mark Tesreau and Logan Prill.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2025 at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Peabody Suite.
