Gerald C. Smithey's Obituary
Gerald C Smithey, 75 died October 17th after a long battle with Parkinson’s Diesese. He is survived by his loving wife Bonita Smithey, his son Wesley Smithey, three daughters Darla hindmon, samantha Smithey, and Nicole Smithey. He is also survived by his sister Joyce Duncan and brother bobby Smithey. He has 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and vallie Smithey, and his sisters Barbara Smithey and Betty DeShazo. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 20 from 5-7 pm with funeral services being held on Wednesday, October 21 at 10 am. All services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gerald’s name to the Michael J Fox Parkinson’s foundation.
