I worked with George 2005 to 2007 and he was always a delight. With those sparkly eyes and joy for the work, he made any trudging through research fun and easy. I think he could talk to anyone and be happy, so much zest for living is rare for someone so highly intelligent too. Academia, industry and anyone who ever worked with him will miss him.
