Gavin Bruce Sumpter's Obituary
Gavin Bruce Sumpter, 61 of Bartlett, TN passed away February 24, 2016. Mr. Sumpter was preceded in death by his father, Jack S. Sumpter; son, Tony A. Sumpter and granddaughter, Sydney Shumate. He is survived by his mother, Carole N. Sumpter; brother, Mitchell Sumpter; daughters, Mindy N. Sumpter West, Chrissy L. Sumpter Dougherty; grandchildren Lexi West, Dylan Shumate, Hudson West, Ryleigh Sumpter, Gracee West, Skyleigh Dougherty; nephew, Mark Sumpter and niece Emily Sumpter. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm, Sunday, February 28 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3 pm.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”
