Gautam Dirghangi's Obituary
Gautam “Tom” Dirghangi, 66, left this world on April 14 with his family by his side after a brief and courageous battle with ALS.
He was born as 1 of 6 children on November 21,1956 in India to Pramatha Nath Dirghangi and Lilavati Dirghangi.
He practiced law in India before immigrating to the US and getting started in a business.
He had a great love of his work- which he continued until his recent illness.
His family will always remember his kindness, his willingness to help others, and his dedication to his family.
In his leisure, he enjoyed gardening and grew a wide variety of vegetables, flowers and plants. He was also an active member of his Indian community and performed any and all religious ceremonies.
He is lovingly survived by his wife of 37 years, Chandana; his 3 daughters- Arpita, Angela, and Ananya; his son-in-law Sameer; granddaughter Eva; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 1:30pm in the Riverside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
