Fredrika Stevenson's Obituary
Mrs. Fredrika Moore Stevenson, 93, passed away July 6, 2012 at Trezevant Manor. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 8 at Memorial Park Mausoleum Rotunda. Mrs. Stevenson attended Rhodes College and was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. She was an Honorary Life Member of the Women of Church at Second, and was active for many years in Bible Study Fellowship and Community Bible Study. She was also a member of Las Passes Fine Arts Club, Memphis and Shelby County Medical Auxiliary, Little Book Club, Our Home and Garden Club, Chickasaw Garden Club, Memphis Symphony League, English Speaking Union, and Chickasaw Country Club. She was an ardent reader and needlepointer. Mrs. Stevenson, the widow of Dr. Edward Newton Stevenson, is survived by her three daughters, Diane Stevenson (Mike) Butler of Millville, CA, Elizabeth Stevenson (Alex) Aal of Mill Valley, CA, and Sallie Stevenson (Richard) Ford of Germantown, TN; five grandchildren, Ashley, David, Peter, Brian, and Caroline; and one great grandchild, Sara. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Second Presbyterian Church, Las Passes, Inc., or the charity of the donor’s choice.
