Fred Sain's Obituary
Fred Ewell Sain died Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 at the age of 94. He served his country in the Navy during World War II and had a 35 year career with the U. S. Postal Division. He leaves his four children, Dr. Robert L. Sain of Knoxville, TN, Kay Greve (Mike) Long Boat Key, FL, Jeanene Lawhead Feinstone (Jeremy) Memphis, TN, Michael L. Sain (Jodie) Memphis, TN. He also leaves his six grandchildren, Laura Powers, Rad Greve, Robert Sain, Charles Sain, Josh Lawhead, Jake Lawhead, Gray Sain, Leeann Sain, Zach Sain, and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife of 25 years, Daurice. “Pops” will be remembered as an avid hunter, fisherman, and nature enthusiast. His wisdom, love, and continued hope for the well being of his family and friends will be remembered by all who knew him. Thanks for the memories. There will be a graveside service in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery Wednesday, April 27 at 11 a.m. The family requests all memorials to be made to the Disabled Veterans Foundation.
