Franklin D Stockton's Obituary
Franklin D. Stockton. May 15, 1935 – May 25, 2014. A devoted family man who served four years in the US Navy. He retired from Kellogg’s Cereal Company after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.K. and Mable Stockton. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Lou; daughter, Ginny, and son-in-law, Mike Mount; two grandsons, Robert (Milly) Mount, and David Mount; two great-grandchildren, Britton and Parker Mount; six siblings: Christine, Jean (Weldon), Vernon F. (Linda), Ken (LaWanda), Roger (Cathy), and Wanda; sister-in-law, Nadine (Jerry) and brother-in-law, Fred (Judy); numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, May 30 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment and Service will follow in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on 4000 Forrest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
