Frank Walk Bumpus' Obituary
Frank Walk Bumpus, 68 years old, passed into the next life surrounded by his loving family on December 5, 2015 at 10:50 p.m. He was the hardest man walking, a striking fisherman, and father to many. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sydney Lynne Walker; two children, A’Licia Hooper and Frank Weston Bumpus (Kelly); and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Joe Lovelace and two sisters, Margaret Ann Baker and Mary Ellen Brown. He left all with lasting lifetime memories. He is finally at peace. Amen. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, December 8 and funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 9 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memphis Memory Gardens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”
