Frank Siler's Obituary
Frank Siler Sr. passed from this life to his new home in Heaven Saturday, August 6th. Born in Egan, Tennessee in 1925 he joined the Navy during World War II to serve his country. He was a retired United States Navy Chief Petty Officer honorably serving on numerous Navy vessels both in World War II and Korean wars during his 21 years of service to this great country. Mr. Siler was also the Vice President of Air Host Inc. for over 20 years. He was very much the family man, always taking care of his family making whatever sacrifices necessary to do so. Mr. Siler was a 32nd degree Mason and a current lifetime member of Unity Lodge # 95 in Memphis. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Ruth of 59 years and three sons Frank Siler, Jr., Dan Siler, and Ricky Neal Siler of which he was so very proud of. It was very easy to respect this man and the things he always stood for. Our family will always be grateful for his solid guidance and direction and he will be greatly missed until we see him again. Hold him closely Jesus, because of you, he is worthy. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 9 and the funeral service 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 10 both at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
