Frank Rhodes' Obituary
ERNEST FRANK RHODES, JR., 47, of Memphis, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon, August 22, 2016 at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago. He was the first-born to doting parents, Ernest Sr. and Donna Rhodes. He leaves his father, his sister and brother, Aimee Hale (David) and Charlie Rhodes (Elisabeth), all of Memphis. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews in whom he shared a deep adoration: Austin, Silas, Abigail, Pippa, Jasper, Lainey, and Annabeth. He loved his family deeply and dedicated his life to helping those around him. Frank’s smile was contagious and he was always quick to cause laughter with his razor sharp wit. His enthusiasm and loyalty to his beloved Memphis sports teams remained consistent till the end. He had an unwavering optimism that allowed him to continually face adversity. His generous spirit was unmatched as he found great joy in enriching the lives and encouraging those he loved. Frank had a passion for living and did not get lost in the mundane. He frequently sought new experiences with close friends and family members with the reward of deepening bonds and creating memories. The family invites all that knew and loved Frank to visit Monday, August 29th from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services and burial will take place at 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 30th at: Memorial Park Funeral Home.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Celebrating Life Behind the Stone Wall”.
