Frank James Kearney, Sr., 89, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 25 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and the funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26 at New Philadelphia MB Church with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert L. Kearney and is survived by his wife, L E Richmond Kearney; children, Frank J. Kearney, Jr., Sylvester Kearney, Shirley R. Denson, Katherine Kearney, James L. Kearney, Stanley Kearney and Beverly K. Hewlitt; sister, Vervee Kearney; brother, John Kearney, Jr.; cousin, Ernestine Riddles; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
