Frances Sue Yeager's Obituary
Frances Sue Yeager passed away on June 8, 2022 after an extended illness.
She was born September 25, 1934 in Birmingham, AL and grew up there.
She married Kenneth Yeager, Sr. and they lived in Alabama, through their young adult years. In 1969 a job transfer for Kenneth brought them and their four children to the Memphis area where she lived her remaining years. She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three siblings, daughter Michelle Wolfe, son-in-law, Steve Joiner, grandsons, Kevin Yeager and Stephen Joiner and great great granddaughter, Nova Lee Wenzler.
She is survived by daughters Linda Joiner and Carol Wilmath (Mike), son Kenneth Yeager, Jr. (Linda) and son-in law, Mike Wolfe. She is further survived by eight grandchildren Wendy Bennett, Beth Hightower, Keith Yeager, Cody Wilmath, Chase Wilmath, Mandy Wenzler, Jason Martin and Taryn Martin, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren and other extended family members.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 24 at 11:30 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the team of caregivers from Comfort Keepers for their compassion and care during the last few months.
