Frances M. White's Obituary
Frances M. White was a caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world after a brief period of illness on June 26, 2023, at the age of 87.
She was born to Anton (Tony) and Marie Mitchell on October 23, 1935. After High School, she married Reed Hurst, who tragically lost his life serving his country. Resiliently, Frances made a new home for herself and her two baby girls, Donna (Marie) and Carol.
On August 1, 1960, Frances married her adventure-loving husband, Ray White. Together they had two children: Brian and Louise. Her husband adored her, they were married for fifty-seven years.
With great love, Frances selflessly served her family well. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and beathing the pants off of anyone at a board or card game. She loved to travel and explore. She would share her marvelous sense of humor with those she knew well. She was a fighter-she was a breast cancer survivor.
Frances is survived by four children, Marie, Carol, Brian, and Louise, (and their spouses); ten grandchildren, Preston, Sarah, Michelle, Warren, Stephen, Jacob, Ben, Katie, Luke, and Christina, (and their spouses); and three great-grandchildren, Samuel, Wrenley, and Lily, (with more on the way); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 10:00 am at Central Church Chapel, 2005 East Winchester Blvd. Collierville, TN. 38017.
