Frances Plunk's Obituary
Frances Dunlap Plunk, 90, passed away February 23, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, TN. She grew up in Sharon, TN and worked at The Milan Ordnance Depot during World War II, where she met her husband. Mrs. Plunk taught Sunday School for almost 30 years and was active, while health permitted, in her Sweet Spirit Sunday School Class at Ridgeway Baptist Church where she was a member for many years. She was preceded in death by sister, Louise Sharp and is survived by her husband of 68 years, Cliff Plunk, Jr.; sons, Cliff III (Linda) and Bob (Molly); sister, Faye Brewer; grandchildren, Ainslie and Jared Plunk, Whitney van Ark, and Drew Plunk; and great grandchild, Annie Rose van Ark. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the celebration of life service begins at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 27 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. How she will be greatly missed and what a Christian testimony she shared during her 90 years here on earth.
