Frances was a wonderful lady with an adventurous spirit ! It was my privilege to know her.
It is very hard to think of Ms Manley without thinking and knowing what a beautiful person she was. I met her more than thirty years ago thru my children. They were young and so thrilled to be out in the country. Nickey and Ronnie Mac loved visiting her and Mr. Watson. What stories he shared.
Ms. Manley spent time and shared her love of outdoors with them. She was always ready for their visits and made them feel so special. Thank you Ms. Manley and much love to my most inspirational person.

Words can’t describe how much Ms. Manley meant to me. I loved her so much! I will forever have great memories of her at church. We had wonderful talks every Sunday. I looked forward to seeing her beautiful smile and hearing her words each week. She will be truly missed. My regrets to not being able to come to her celebration of life on the 8th. The family will be in my prayers during this time from Texas.
I greatly enjoyed working with Frances at Main Library, then Central Library.
I am Josephine Patton Follin, a family member. My father was Charles William Patton , Mattie Hays Patton Patton’s son. My mother was Josephine Pendergrast Patton. My daddy,Charlie, use to take me out to see the Watsons when I was young. I got to know Frances as well as Bob. I always loved that side of the Patton family. Mattie’s family were and are wonderful Christian people. Frances had a big gathering of all the Pattons when my children were real young. They got to see Uncle Aubrey before he died around 106 years old. Frances died on my birthday. I can’t believe that I am 80years old. My love goes to Nolen and Nancy, and the rest of the family. I love you, Josephine Patton Follin
