Frances Cole Kolb's Obituary
Frances Cole Kolb went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ September 4, 2017, at Humboldt Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Humboldt, Tennessee. Mrs. Kolb was born in Trenton, Tennessee, June 24, 1923, to Dr. Ira Cole and Latta Mae Canada Cole. Mrs. Kolb grew up in Memphis and was a graduate of Tech High School and then attended and graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, where she met her husband of fifty years, Dr. Howard Snow Kolb. She and her husband served the congregation of Audubon Park Baptist Church faithfully together for over thirty years.Mrs. Kolb was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Howard Snow Kolb, her parents Ira and Latta Cole, her brother and sister-in-law Dr. Jim and Helen Cole, a great niece Allison Bucy, and numerous family members and friends. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Kolb of Jackson, Tennessee, her son and daughter-in-law David and Genie Kolb of Jackson, Tennessee; her grandchildren Stacey Sims (and Brandon) and Aaron Kolb (and Becca) of Jackson, Tennessee; and two great granddaughters Kylie Madison Sawyer and Harper Rae Kolb of Jackson, Tennessee.Mrs. Kolb’s life will be celebrated Wednesday, September 6 at 2:30 p.m. At Memorial Park Funeral Home. Visitation is from 12:30 till 2:30 with family and friends. Mrs. Kolb will be buried in Memorial Park Cemetery next to her husband following the celebration service.
