Frances Pate Arquitt's Obituary
Frances Pate Arquitt passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the age of 103. Mrs. Arquitt was born in Memphis, Tennessee on August 20,1920 to the late Edward Kirby Pate and Ruth Crowe Pate.
Mrs. Arquitt was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert Lee Arquitt. She was also proceeded in death by her sister, Doris Mae Sheets of Stockton, Missouri and her brother John Pate of Nashville.
Mrs. Arquitt leaves her daughter, Lee Arquitt Calhoun (Michael) of Memphis and her son, Steven Pate Arquitt (Bettina) of Eugene, Oregon. Additionally, Mrs. Arquitt leaves her granddaughter, Lessie Lee Calhoun Rainey of Memphis and twin grandsons Robert Cornwell Arquitt and Luke Cornwell Arquitt of Eugene, Oregon. Her great-grandson, James Andrew Walker Raney of Memphis is also left behind.
A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, on Monday, November 11, 2023 at 11:30 am. A Memorial Visitation will be held an hour prior from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
