Floyd Smith's Obituary
Floyd A. Smith of Memphis, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2010. Mr. Smith leaves his wife of 62 years, Catherine Smith. He is retired from the Federal Aviation Agency after 32 years. He was a veteran of WWII and was stationed in Germany. His favorite hobbies included bring a Ham Radio operator, golf, and fishing. He was a member of Charjean Baptist Church. He was an active member of the Bartlett Senior Citizens Center and the Lewis Group. He is survived by his daughter Judy Mason, and three brothers Richard Smith, Donald Smith, and Roy Smith. He has three granddaughters, Kim Perry of Conneticut, Barbara Taylor of Memphis, and Michelle Roark of Memphis, and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm Sunday April 11, 2010 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 12, 2010, at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
