Floyd Clark Morris Jr.'s Obituary
Floyd Clark Morris Jr., 77, passed away on December 16, 2020. He was born in McComb, MS on September 6, 1943. He honorably served in the US Army and is a graduate from the University of Memphis. He worked for Maybelline/Schering-Plough for 30 years, starting in an entry level position and rising to become Vice President of Sales and Administration during his time there. After leaving Maybelline, he worked for Yardley of London until he retired. Mr. Morris was a member of Germantown Baptist Church for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Clark Morris Sr. and Modena Marie Morris, as well as his loving wife of 54 years, Janet Burns Morris. Mr. Morris is survived by his three daughters, Deanna Bates (Mark), Melissa Brightman, Janna Schultheis (Curt);seven grandchildren, Brian Bates (Angie), Matthew Bates (Holly), Lauren Bates, Elaine Brightman, William Brightman, Nola Schultheis, Lila Schultheis; and four great-grandchildren, Joy Bates, Bryson Bates, Eli Bates and Forest Bates. A graveside memorial service and burial will be held on Saturday January 30 at 1 in the afternoon at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
