Florence (Ms. Flo) Smith, 88, of Nesbit, MS, passed away on January 30, 2023.
Ms. Flo was born on May 21, 1934, in Seattle, WA to James Purcell Clark and Twalla Wannabo Clark
Ms. Flo is survived by her children, Connie (Jimmy) Anglin, Debbie McDonald, Susie Helm, Kathy Looney, Theresa Cobb, Lisa Milloway, William (Billy Boy) Smith, Jr. and John H. Smith, 26 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Purcell Clark and Twalla Wannabo Clark, husband, William F. Smith, Sr., son, William (Billy) L. Rushing, granddaughter, Amanda Rushing Roberson
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.st.jude.org
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. all in the Riverside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
