Florence Ann Roberts' Obituary
Florence “Ann” Roberts, 78, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 from an extended illness. She was born in Helena, AR. Ms. Roberts attended school in Memphis and was a graduate of Central High School. She is survived by Edith Moore of Oakland TN, and Frances Donovan of Memphis, Philip Donovan of Memphis and Nancy Kiefert of Florida. Ms. Roberts was retired from Fed-Ex, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Air Force Reserves. She was very active in many groups the Episcopal Church, Cursillo, Fed Ex Retiree Group to name a few. Ms. Roberts enjoyed traveling, reading, needlework, and expanding her mind into many ventures. She was a big advocate for animal welfare. For a while she had a stained glass business. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Church of the Holy Communion, 4645 Walnut Grove Rd. Memphis TN. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to Fayette County Animal Rescue or Alzheimer’s Foundation.Location: Sunset Hill Arrow Color: Blue
