Florence W. Elder (Nana)'s Obituary
Florence W. Elder (Nana), 86, of Memphis, passed away July 13th, 2009 at her home.She was extremely active in Idlewild Presbyterian Church and a lifetime member of Presbyterian Women.She was preceded in death by her husband, John R.C. Elder. Florence is survived by four children and their spouses, Lyn (Bill) Reed of Memphis, Ellen Elder (Jerry) Jones of Germantown, Eaton M (Cindy) Elder II of Ashland, MS Cissy (Kim) Clark of Williston; two grandchildren, Michael (April) Bryan of Memphis, Amy (Alan) Bulman of Skelton, England; and one great-grandchild, Seth Bryan.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be held at Idlewild Presbyterian Church at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2009.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Idlewild Presbyterian Church.
