Faye Holmquist's Obituary
Faye Holmquist, 88, of Memphis, passed away at her home, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, on Saturday, November 13, 2010. Mrs. Holmquist was retired from National Distiller and Chemicals. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed travelling, boating, skiing, and entertaining her friends and family. Mrs. Holmquist, is survived by her husband of 64 years, Hudson “Hud” Holmquist; two sisters, Mavourleen Trembelas, and Dorothy Nash; one brother, Darwin Nash; one nephew, David Dallas, one great nephew, John David Dallas, Jr., and three great great nieces, one great great nephew; and her husband’s nephew, Andy Holmquist; and six special friends who provided loving care for her for many years. The visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 15, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 16, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1738 Galloway, with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery in Amory, Mississippi. Memorials may be sent to Trinity United Methodist Church-Choir Fund.
