Faye H. Holder's Obituary
Faye H. Holder, 87, of Memphis, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Elmer C. Holder, Jr. and her sister, Lounette Wilbur. Mrs. Holder is survived by her two children, Laqueta Ferguson and her husband James and Elmer C. Holder, III. and his wife Pat, four grandchildren, Rob Ferguson and his wife Maria, Brett Ferguson and his wife Jessica, Katherine Peak and her husband Chris and Patrick Holder, four great-grandchildren, Grace, Reagan, Greer and Cayden and six siblings, Annie Boyce Brown and her husband Bobby, Yvonne French and her husband Frenchie, Buddy Hitchcock, Junior Hitchcock and his wife Pauline, Alice Cruse and her husband James and Jean McWhirter and Geno. Mrs. Holder was very active in her church, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. She would volunteer there, was the secretary, part of the alter guild and many other activities. She was sweet, kind and loved to play Bridge. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 18 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. with the funeral commencing at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis.
