Fairy May Waller Walker's Obituary
FAIRY WALLER WALKER, 88 years old, was born, May 26, 1923 in Memphis. The angels knew she was so tired, so the swooped down and took her to Heaven on July 1, 2011. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11;30 a.m., Tuesday, July 5 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Her parents were Jackie and James McNabb of Memphis and Somerville, TN. She has fought a courageous battle the last 10 years with strokes and heart problems. She was a proud member of Barton Baptist Church and the Ladys Club there in Olive Branch. The last 5 years she has gone to Bartlett Baptist in Bartlett. She was a woman of kindness, grace, and was a true Christian . She leaves two daughters, Donna (Fred) Coleman and Debbie (Randy) Grubb; and one son, James (Teresa) Waller “Nanney” leaves nine grandchildren, Brittany Daxton, Sandy, Shelley, Gina, Kevin and Christy, Azure and Aubrey. She leaves six great-grandchildren, Kobie, Peyton, Nick, Dylan, Bradey and Megan. She also leaves three nieces and one nephew, her beloved Greyhound, Ethan, and her two best friends, Virginia Hamner and Milber Thomas.
