Smith, Evelyn Brown's Obituary
Evelyn Brown Smith, 89, of Rossville, TN, passed away on October 22, 2024.
Mrs. Smith was born on July 21, 1935, in Walnut, MS to Claude Brown and Alta Kimery Brown.
She is survived by her daughters, Twanda Dowdy and Zanda Smith, 3 grandchildren, Brittany (Taylor) Moody, Clayton (Madison) Dowdy and Jordan Dowdy, and 6 great grandchildren, Charlotte, Fox, Jasper, and Willa Moody, Piper and Barrett Dowdy.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Donald Smith, her parents, Claude and Alta Brown, her sister, Betty Nell Wilbanks, and her brother, Wallace Brown.
Mrs. Smith was a long time member of Rossville Baptist Church in Rossville, TN.
The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation on Tuesday, October 29 at 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
