Evelyn Louis Oswalt Moore's Obituary
Evelyn Louise Oswalt Moore, 93, joined her husband, Jack in heaven on March 9, 2015. She was born December 2, 1921 to Lavada and Nep Oswalt. She enjoyed entertaining, playing golf, and bridge, at which she achieved Life Master. She was the loving wife of Jack Moore, her husband of 72 years who just recently preceded her on March 2. They are survived by their children, Charles Ford Moore (Laura) and Gary Michael Moore (Debbie); five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., and a combined memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Getwell Road United Methodist Church – Chapel, Southaven, MS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
