Evelyn Irene Fisher's Obituary
Irene Fisher, 60, of Ripley, a member of the Helen R. Tucker Center, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in the Lauderdale Community Hospital. Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. Monday, May 9 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10 at Old Gibson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, near Fruitland, TN. She leaves her mother, Edith Irene Fisher, of Memphis; sisters, Jane Wiley, of Halls, Peggy Shelby, of Memphis, JoNell Henslee, of Vian, OK; brother, Roy Lee Fisher, Jr., of Bartlett; and eight nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at Westside Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Special Needs Ministry, Westside Baptist Church, 705 Sumrow Street, Halls, TN 38040 or organization of your choice.
