Eugene V. Randolph's Obituary
Eugene V. Randolph passed away on February 6, 2017 at the age of 90. Born on October 25, 1926 in New York City, he was raised in Dayton, Ohio. He served in the Army during World War II as a Japanese interpreter. He is a graduate of Ohio State University. He worked at Baptist Hospital for over 30 years as Director of the Physical Therapy. Eugene was devoted to his family, patients, staff, and profession. Even into his 80’s, Eugene was a runner and active in the Memphis Bonsai Society. He was preceded in death by his wife Jolena, and daughter Mary. He leaves three sons, Rex (Jennifer) and Adam of Memphis, and Christopher of St. Petersburg, Fl, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, two brothers and six sisters. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held March 4, 2017 at 2:30pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119.
