Essie Delisi's Obituary
ESSIE HOLT DELISI, 96, passed on April 1, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husbands, George Holt and Sam Delisi and son, Joe Holt. She is survived by her daughter Ghedda Holt Cianciola, daughter-in-law Sylvia Holt, grandchildren, Chris Cianciola (Lanell) of Huntsville, AL, Carol (Tim) Robidoux of Collierville, TN and Michael Holt and Dee Dee Holt of Nesbit, MS and four great-grandchildren, Parker and Austin Cianciola and Kelsey and Kayla Robidoux. Mrs. Delisi retired from General Electric, Memphis Lamp Works after 33 years and spent retirement volunteering at local hospitals. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Incarnation in Collierville. Her daughter would like to thank the wonderful staff at Quince Nursing Home and caregivers, Michelle and Shirley for the care, compassion and love shown to her Mom during her last years. Mrs. Delisi asks that her family and friends recall the wonderful memories shared and her as “HAPPY AND FULL OF LIFE”. She requested her body be donated to Genesis MERI Program. There will be a graveside service held for the Family at a later date. Any donations should be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
