Ervin Lamar Vaughan's Obituary
ERVIN LAMAR VAUGHAN, 82, of Germantown, passed away on May 1, 2011. He was born January 25, 1929 in Camden, AR. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Faith Vaughan; sons, Thomas L. Vaughan (Kathy) and Dennis A. Vaughan, both of Germantown; grandchildren, Laura V. Howell (Lowry), Karen E. Jeter (Andrew), Amy V. Bawcum (Jason), Rachel L. Vaughan, Rebecca D. Vaughan; and seven great-grandchildren, Abby, Allison, Hannah Grace, Kate, Caroline, Hudson and Jenna Kate; one brother, Odie Vaughan, Jr. of El Dorado, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernece and Odie Vaughan, Sr. and brother, Drewey Vaughan of Arkansas. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and devoted member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. Lamar served in the United States Air Force. He was self-employed, remodeling homes. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 3 from 5-8 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and the funeral will be Wednesday, May 4 at Forest Hill Baptist Church located at 3645 Forest Hill Irene Rd., Germantown, at 1 p.m.; entombment following in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
