Ernest William Brimson's Obituary
ERNEST WILLIAM (“BILL”) BRIMSON died peacefully in his home March 24, 2022, with family by his side. He was 91 years old. Mr. Brimson was born August 17, 1930, in Memphis, Tennessee, where he lived his entire life. He was retired from General Electric Corporation in 1992, where he had worked for over 30 years. He was called back to work in 1999 overseas in Hungary. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family dearly and treated his stepchildren and step-grandchildren as if they were his own. Mr. Brimson lived a long, full life. He spent many days on the golf course after his retirement and he loved to swim. Bill was the kindest, sweetest man and was loved by all who knew him.
Mr. Brimson is survived by his wife of nearly 22 years, Nancy Percer Kessler, his brother John David Brimson of Maine, his daughter-in-law: Sandra Kizer (Billy) Brimson of High Point, NC; stepchildren: Pamela Lee (Doug) Breeckner of Davidson, NC, Norris A. (Penny) Kessler III of Winchester, TN, Neal A. Kessler, of Germantown, TN, Natalie Kessler (Scott) Lovelace of Ripley, TN; grandchildren: Ashley C. Brimson, William P. Brimson, Jacob D. Brimson all of High Point, NC; Lee Raines (Paul) Buchmann of Bozeman, MT, Jillian S. Kessler, of Memphis, TN, Courtney N. Kessler (Austin Dugger) of Santa Fe, TN, Jeb H. Lovelace of Ripley, TN; great grandchildren: Leah C. Johnson of High Point, NC, Grant R. Buchmann of Bozeman, MT, Reid A. Buchmann of Bozeman, MT, Ella G. Buchmann, of Bozeman, MT, Sierra J. Dugger of Santa Fe, TN, Juniper S. Fifer of Memphis, TN, and Jemma S. Fifer of Memphis, TN.
Mr. Brimson is preceded in death by his parents Fred William Brimson and Mable Mae Bailey Robbins, his son, Billy Dewayne Brimson, four siblings Arthur Brimson, Robert Brimson, Charles Brimson, Gladys Brimson Gibson, and his former wife Gene Lee Brimson.

Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Visitation with the family from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 30, 2022, Entombment in the Rotunda of the Mausoleum at 1:30 p.m.
