Emmett Glenn Smith, 93, went to be with the Lord December 10, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Maisie. He is survived by his daughter, Glenda Drewery (Sammy); 2 grandchildren, Tommy Martin, and Connie Stur Read Obituary
What a wonderful man! I loved visiting him and hearing his stories, especially those about Maisie. I once told him that even though I had never met her, I felt like I knew her as if she was an old friend. Glenda and family, please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Such a kind soul and a lover of film. we could spend hours talking on the phone of how the industry was and how it had been. Emmett always knew the answers to all the Movie trivia. Both he and Maise avid lovers of good movies. I always loved hearing how they had a group of friends over to watch movie at their house. The stories they would tell! He is now with his own true love. Jim & I thought he was one of the most decent people we had ever met! Bless you and your family
