Emily Eoff Spencer's Obituary
Emily Kathleen Eoff Spencer, 54, of Southaven, Mississippi, sadly passed away at Methodist University Hospital on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
Emily was born in Memphis to Joe and Margaret Eoff on August 11, 1968. After graduating from Germantown High School, Emily went on to graduate from Memphis State University, where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, before opening her own business and becoming the Tigers’ biggest fan. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and hosting large family dinners, cheering on the Tiger basketball and football teams, and vacationing at the beach.
Emily is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Glenn Spencer, as well as her three children Joseph Spencer, Ashley (Michael) Downs, and Ellis Spencer; two grandchildren Bryleigh Spencer and Lucas Downs; her parents Joe and Margaret Eoff; her two sisters Jenifer (Kelly) Eoff and Elizabeth (Preston) Wylie; and her nephew Evan Wylie.
Please join us in celebrating her life at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in Riverside Chapel (5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119) on Thursday, June 29. Visitation from 12 PM – 1 PM. Service at 1 PM. She will be laid to rest at the Cordova Cemetery immediately following the funeral service (family only).
Emily will be missed by so many. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor her by making a memorial contribution to St. Jude.
