Ken, Billie Jean, family: Carroll and I send much love. We have such awesome memories. Bro. Elton, while pastor at Bemis Methodist Church, gave Carroll her first Sunday School Class teaching job…she was only 16 and her class members were not much younger…and Ken was one of her students! Bro. Elton was still pastor at Bemis UMC when Carroll and I were married in 1964 at the beautiful Bemis Church. He assisted Dr. Carl M. Robbins in our marriage ceremony. We loved his humor such as the time he asked me if I knew why bees buzzed. I didn’t know but he had a ready answer: “You’d buzz, too, if someone stole your honey and nectar!” We know you have enough memories to cherish for a lifetime. Peace! Rev. Russell N.
