I am truly sorry for your loss. During such difficult times God says that he is close to you as a source of comfort and strength (Psalm 34:18).
As a young engineer with the Army Corps of Engineers I learned a lot from Elmer. He was a true professional at his work and when he helped put on a public meeting, if anything failed, he always had plan B in place. But everything usually was executed without a hitch. Elmer was very good with all kinds of people and I really enjoyed working with him and hearing the stories he would tell of past experiences. He was really missed at the Corps when he retired. I look forward to seeing Elmer again one day – what a reunion that will be. May the Lord bless you all and comfort you in the days ahead.
You were so kind to me when I first came into the new branch . You helped me realize a lot of things.
Thank you
Elmer you were a great supervisor, and mentor at the CE. I will also remember you. You help me a lot. Geanette

Faye and Family, so sorry for your loss. Billy and I both worked with Elmer for years and there was not a more pleasant person to be around. We considered him a dear friend. I hope you know how much Elmer thought of his family because he spoke of all of you often with love. I hope your days without your loved one will be easier because of the love you shared with him.
My condolences. We can look forward to the time when ” No one will say I am sick “, and God is going to ” swallow up death forever “. Isaiah 33:24; 25:8 Please accept my condolences at this time.
