Ellen T. Wade's Obituary
Ellen Teasley Wade, 34 – October 30, 1983-August 28, 2018 Ellen leaves behind her loving husband, Jason, precious newborn daughter, Emma Rose, her proud parents, Rev. Jack Henry Jr. & and Janice, her grandmother Ellen Berlin, her grandfather, Jack Henry Sr., her vehemently protective brothers Stafford (Ashley) & Tyler (Michelle), and adoring nieces and nephews Graycen, Tristan, Miller Kate, Paisley, and Easton, & her beloved Rottweiler, Tucker she affectionately referred to as “Tootie”, as well as a neverending list of extended family and close friends. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Gene Berlin and Grandmother, Shirley Rose Henry. Ellen graduated from White Station High School as an outgoing and vibrant spirit. She went on to earn her BSN from Baptist Memorial College of Health Sciences with a passion for saving lives. She devoted her life to serving and helping others in their time of need. Her abundance of compassion for her patients was noticed by all who were blessed enough to know her. Ellen always put others before herself & strived to do the right thing by her family, friends, & patients alike. An avid Memphis Tigers fan, Ellen enjoyed tailgating and spending as much time as she could with her family and many friends who became family. She could always be found running toward the drum line & putting on her own step show on game day! Her infectious giggle, show stopping smile, generous spirit, terrible “dad” jokes, and absolute inability to correctly recite song lyrics are just a few things that her huge host of extended family and friends loved about her. Ellen married her beloved husband on October 5, 2013 in front of an overflowing crowd of witnesses to their love in Ridgely, TN. Ellen & Jason enjoyed travel & living life in a spontaneous and exciting way. They only just recently began to expand their family by one with the much anticipated birth of their daughter, Emma Rose Wade on 8/18/18. Ellen wanted nothing more than to be a mother and cherished and adored her newest addition with all of her heart for the short time they had together. She leaves an enormous hole in the hearts of all who knew her, but her legacy will live on through her precious new baby girl, Emma Rose and the lives she will continue to save with her final, selfless gift. The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m., Monday, September 3 and services celebrating her life will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 4 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to a trust being set up for Emma Rose at https://www.gofundme.com/theemmarosefund
