Ellen Henley Salemi's Obituary
Ellen Henley Salemi, 88, of Olive Branch, MS passed away peacefully on May 31, 2018 in her home. She was a member of Gracewood Baptist Church for over 50 years. Mrs. Salemi was blessed with beauty, a true Southern Belle full of grace. Family was very important to her. She loved and treasured her children and grandchildren who also loved her dearly. Mrs. Salemi worked for Shelby County Schools, VA Hospital, and FedEx. She was a valued asset to each organization. She was preceded in death by Vincent F. Salemi, Sr. and her son, Vincent F. Salemi, Jr. She is survived by one son, William Robert “Bob” Salemi (Scottie), and one daughter, Lyn Salemi Wildmon (Terry); seven grandchildren, Jay, Gina, Robbie, Katie, Christopher, Tony, and Lee. Mrs. Salemi also leaves behind 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Richard Henley and Charles Henley, and two sisters, Louise Vance and Catherine Grossner. Ellen will be missed for her beautiful smile and charismatic personality. The family will receive friends and family from 12:30 p.m., Sunday June 3, 2018 until the service time at 2:30 p.m., at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Gracewood Baptist Church in Southaven, MS.
