I am very sorry to learn of Ellen’s passing. I manage the Intensive Journal program created by Ira Progoff, PhD (my father) at Dialogue House. We were very fortunate to have Ellen enter our training program to become one of our certified presenters and then represent us in conducting our workshops. Ellen did a great job no matter what she did. She was extremely generous with her time and talents and was very dedicated in helping more people benefit from our program. Ellen was a trusted adviser with whom I felt I could discuss anything. I had offered her our position as training director for our facilitator certification program (Advanced Studies Program) but her illness tragically prevented her from moving forward. Ellen will be sorely missed.

It was my privilege to have Ellen as a student in the Advanced Studies Program for Dialogue House. In training to become an Intensive Journal Workshop leader she was required to submit reports on the work of Dr. Ira Progoff, founder of the program. Her work was outstanding. She completed the course with flying colors and had begun leading workshops. I was so impressed with her, as a person, and with her dedication to the program that I hoped she would take over my position once I retired. Her passing is a loss to Dialogue House and the continuation of the Intensive Journal program. Avis Smalley

I have so many beautiful memories of Dr. Ellen Faith, who was my mentor in grad school at CBU. She was also my friend. No one who really knew her could help being the recipient of her care and love, as well as her vast knowledge. Ellen was in the top 10 people, I would say, of people who have been the most influential in my life. I rarely saw her without a smile and a happy comment. It seems to me that God often takes the BEST people early in life. Ellen, you are missed by so many people that it is just plain ridiculous !!!
