Elizabeth Ann Cook Wiseman's Obituary
Ann Cook Wiseman, age 85, of Memphis, Tennessee, went to her heavenly home on August 13, 2025 from her residence at Job's Way Memory Care facility at Kirby Pines Estates. Ann was a graduate of Mississippi College for Women (MSCW) and was raised in Canton, Mississippi and had a deep and lasting love for the Robinson family home in Water Valley, Mississippi. Ann had a love for education and the care of its students and enjoyed her years as Assistant to the Headmaster at Whitehaven Presbyterian School and St. Mary's Episcopal School. She loved the Lord and was member of Bellevue Baptist Church and the Brand Life Group. After her faith Ann loved and cared for her family and enjoyed close relationships with many special friends.
Ann is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald Edward Wiseman, and sons Darryl Hugh Wiseman (Rhonda) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Michael Stuart Wiseman (Susan) of Charlotte, North Carolina, grandsons Brendan Tyler Wiseman, Stephen Bryce Wiseman, Harrison Kyle Wiseman, granddaughters Carson Elizabeth Walker and Cayce Lane Wiseman and her recently born great grandson Bennett Lawson Walker.
Ann was predeceased by her parents John T Cook and Mary Robinson Cook and her half-brother Charles Cook.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 :00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. Interment will be a private graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice.
