Elizabeth Dale Ragland Parker's Obituary
Elizabeth Dale Ragland Parker went to be with her Lord and Savior February 4th, just short of her 90th birthday March 1st. She had been suffering with lung disease for quite some time so she is in a much better place with the love of her life David Parker, her husband since 1954. If you were friend, of which she had many, you knew the love and support she always gave. Dale was very involved in the community. She and her husband David were one of the original members of the Jaycees from which she made many lifelong friends, an active member of The Duration Club for years, board member on the Mid South Fair and Libertyland, president of the Hunters Hollow HOA and an active member of Advent Presbyterian Church. Later in life she decided to travel and became an agent for Regency Travel. She took several groups on many trips including the Holy Land, Europe, and Alaska just to name a few. She leaves behind her daughter Jan Carson, (Sam), her son David Parker (Cindi) and two grandsons, Dustin Parker and Parker Morris. A Celebration of Life will be held at Presbyterian Church Thursday February 15th with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and services at 2:00 p.m., and reception afterwards. She will be missed by many who loved and knew her throughout her life.
