A proud graduate of Messick High School in Memphis, Betty carried with her the values of kindness, perseverance, and compassion that shaped her character throughout her life.
Betty was the beloved wife of John P. Lee, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on love and family. She was a devoted mother to Kellye Phillips (James), Lisa Lee, and Steven Lee (Kandice), and a proud grandmother to Gavin and Harry Olding, Fisher and Hunter Phillips, and Adeline and Porter Lee. Of all the roles she cherished, none brought her more joy than being “Grandma Betty” and “Nanny”. Titles she held with deep love and pride.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Eva Lokey Davis, and her beloved daughter, Angela Elizabeth Lee. Betty is survived by her siblings, Joyce Martin, Glen Davis (Jackie), and Barbara Castorina (John), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family who were all touched by her warmth and generosity.
