Elizabeth R. Davidson's Obituary
Elizabeth “Liz” Davidson, 83, passed away September 20, 2012 at Methodist Residence Hospice. Liz was fiercely proud of her family and loved to be around people. Liz was the secretary at Craigmont High School before going to work at the Memphis branch of the FBI. She retired from the FBI after 27 years. She was a founding member of Raleigh Presbyterian and has been a member for over 20 years at Hope Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Davidson and her parents, William and Myrtle Rockett. She leaves two daughters, Betty Scalf (Steve) and Diane Abernathy (Ron), a sister Anita Jefferies and a grandson, Jonathan Craft (Heather). Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Church Health Center, 1196 Peabody Ave, Memphis 38104 or Streets Ministry, 430 Vance Ave, Memphis TN 38126.
