Elizabeth "Dedo" "Dale" Whitehorn's Obituary
Elizabeth “Dedo” Loudale Whitehorn, 90, passed away on December 2, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, James Marlin Whitehorn, three siblings, Athalee Terry, James Horner, and Billie Cox. Mrs. Whitehorn retired from John Deere after 34 years of service, and Enpak Battery Company. She was an active member of Colonial Baptist Church for over 50 years. She loved spending time with family and getting together with her sweet friends at church to quilt, work in the church library and fellowship. Her hobbies included line dancing, walking and gardening. She was a very loving and caring aunt, sister and friend. “Dedo” is survived by four nieces, one nephew, and several grand nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service time at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum.
